Individual Spiritual Direction
“When I decided I wanted to go deeper in my spiritual life, I explored working with a spiritual director for the first time. Tara has been a thoughtful, patient, encouraging and wise companion on my journey with God. She has been God-centered and God-honouring in her approach and I have appreciated the freedom to share the ups and downs in my walk with God. It is a privilege to work with someone who selflessly listens to my on-going journey, encourages me to explore new ways of experiencing God, and keeps gently steering me towards God at every opportunity.” -LeAnne T.
Spiritual direction is the practice of holy listening, companioning those who long to go deeper with God, get past roadblocks in prayer, or desire to uncover more of their true selves in Christ. In individual spiritual direction different practices of prayer, Scripture meditation, silence and creative expression are explored together with your spiritual director. As a spiritual director, Tara does not seek to solve the problems of her directees or provide solutions, but to companion them as they learn about God and themselves.
Sessions are usually approximately one hour in length, and take place every two weeks.
